I have been on the roads of Australia now for close to six months, and yes the time has flown by. I have learned lot's of little tips and tricks about things like hostel life and some Auzzie slang, but this list is more of the personal side. The things that stick with you no matter the country.

  1. Do You

What have I learned and applied to "Do You" as it pertains to travel and creation? Go to places YOU want to see & create/capture what YOU want. As hard as it may be, don't just go where the latest and trendiest travellers are going and post what's gaining traction online. Take inspiration for sure, but don't lose what makes you unique. I find this to be an every day battle, but being aware of the very present battle is a win nonetheless.

  2. Stay The Course

This is another daily battle for myself and many others as well. Especially with how the algorithms, modern technology, and elite/political powers have designed our daily lives. This is basically the problem of choice, spreading ourselves too thin and putting all our eggs in TOO many baskets. There are days I wake up and see another 21 year old kid driving around in cherry red Ferraris and paying off his parents mortgage. Meanwhile I'm sitting here calculating wether to go to Japan or Hong Kong for two weeks. "Should I be doing more?!" I think to myself. I need to quit travelling tomorrow, fly home, start two businesses, trade crypto in my off hours and if I don't have a six pack while doing this then I'm a worthless lazy bum. Do You & Stay The Course.

  3. Be Adaptable. Change Is Inevitable

This can goes against #2 depending on how you look at it, but sometimes staying the course means being prepared to adapt. I have had my YouTube, Instagram and TikTok accounts for 5 months, I have changed my bio, posting routine, content and theme more times than I can count, I also deleted my TikTok in that span too. Currently I am still changing my content and trying to find what is ME and my style. All of this while trying to remain engaging for others is a the balancing act I never thought it would be. One thing I don't ever do - look back and regret changing.

To sum it all up: Remain true to yourself but remember that change is an opportunity for growth and last and most of all,

Never Quit.
